In this volume we are taken back to the beginning, back to the end of the first novel, Faery With Teeth. Vivian McFarlain did not get on the plane to travel back home, instead she stays in Ireland to begin a search to understand the materialization Lugh, the ancient Irish Sun God, and his interactions with her during her time in Ireland.
